緯來日本台成立於1996年,為台灣有線電視事業成功並開拓分眾市場最具典範的電視頻道,創造台灣電視史上日劇的大流行,引爆哈日風潮。於2010年起率先與日本同期播映日劇至今,更將日本情報新知引進台灣,為眾所矚目的專業日本頻道。

Videoland Japan, founded in 1996, is a trailblazer in Taiwan’s cable TV industry and a pioneer in developing niche markets. It ignited a J-Drama boom in Taiwan, fueling widespread enthusiasm for Japanese pop culture. Since 2010, the channel has been airing Japanese dramas simultaneously with their original broadcasts in Japan, consistently bringing the latest Japanese news and trends to Taiwanese audiences and earning its reputation as a premier Japanese channel.

These well-rounded, educational travel programs have been warmly received in both Taiwan and Japan.
In addition, Videoland Japan has created an interactive platform called Japan! WeLike, curating multimedia content on Japanese food, fashion, travel, arts, and entertainment. Expanding beyond broadcasting, Videoland Japan has introduced popular Japanese lifestyle products, including the Kenmin Pillow and Kenmin Mattress, exclusively available in Taiwan.
